After a 30 minute breathing session there will be a short talk about mastering the art of breathing, focusing on the Breathing Unlimited approach.

If you have arrived with questions about the upcoming Breath Coach Training or want to ask something, the last 20 minutes will be Q&A time!

BREATHING SESSION:
Therapeutic breathwork and movement for down-regulation & unwinding
Grounding, heartfelt, soft practice into the magic of your breath

TALK:
Why does breathing matter? Breathing happens automatically, but at the same time it carries enormous potential for healing, regulating the nervous system, sleeping better, digesting food more easily, focusing more sharply, learning to know oneself and transforming one's experience of life on all levels: physiological, cognitive, emotional and spiritual. The focus of the talk is on Breathing Unlimited approach to breathwork: multidisciplinary, in-depth, holistic, body-based, scientifically accurate and spiritually inspired.

Q&A:
Arrive with or without questions about Breath Coach Training that start in Trondheim in December, and in Oslo in February. You will hear more about the training, and there is an opportunity to ask questions either in chat or directly.

You will get the Zoom link after registration. If you don't receive a confirmation email, check your spam folder or reach out.

Workshop does not require any particular knowledge or experience, but is directed to those possibly interested in taking the Breath Coach Training either in Trondheim or Oslo.

It is recommended that you have a place to lie down for the breathing session, preferable on a comfortable yoga mat on the floor. We might start standing or seated.

The workshop is in English. It is always possible to ask questions and receive clarifications in Norwegian.

Your Guide

SANNI PARKKINEN

Breathing educator, E-RYT 500h yoga teacher, somatic coach

Sanni is experienced breathing coach, educator, breath worker, yoga teacher and somatic coach coming originally from Finland.

In her coaching work, Sanni focuses on nervous system health, breath and respecting the wisdom of the body. During the past 10 years she has deepened her understanding of the human system by diving into somatic work and different mind-body practices. Sanni is especially interested in neuroscience, mind-body connection and body's natural healing processes. Her big passion is to explore the convergences of latest research and ancient wisdom.

Sanni has coached hundreds of people to free and functionalize their breathing. She is constantly adjusting her methods to reach the clients where they are at, which has led her to understand the breath from a holistic perspective. There are no one-size-fits-all -solutions. Sanni's approach to breathing & movement work is multidisciplinary, drawing inspiration from various modalities: Integrative Breathing Therapy, Buteyko Method, Breathwork, Taoism, Body-Mind Centering, Somatic Experiencing, Body-Mind Centering®, Movement Intelligence, Feldenkrais, Hatha, Tantra & Vijnana Yoga and various body-oriented therapy modalities.
