  • Nervous system regulation for practitioners
  • Neuroscience of change
  • Alternative and holistic health care, integrative breathing therapy: what is important? How can we work in good co-operation with traditional healthcare system, evidence-based while being in the front line to see things from different perspectives and understanding the whole?
  • Where traditional healthcare often fails... Specific protocols for anxiety, respiratory issues including asthma, allergies, extra-thoracic breathing pattern disorders and sleep apnea. Looking at unexplained medical issues, especially unexplained breathing discomfort and chronic pain.
  • Practice session in this retreat strengthen nervous system regulation and lean towards calm, slow breathing & movement. Gentle carbon dioxide training is also a focus area. It is possible to measure one's carbon dioxide levels during the retreat with CapnoTrainer.

You are welcome to join even if you do not plan to be certified & facilitate breathing therapy in the future. The daily program is nourishing in any case, and you have more free time during the retreat if you choose to skip the theory lessons.

This retreat takes place in a hotel where we have a conference room booked for theory and practice for the whole weekend. Food is vegetarian. There is also sauna, pool and gym available for use. You can read more about the hotell HERE

There will be some pre-recorded lectures and practices available at the platform 1 month before the retreat (by 25th August). Topics include

  • Breath coaching for athletes - performance improvement
  • Carbon dioxide and HRV biofeedback training

One of the theory/practice sessions (2 hours) will focus on these topics. As the hotell is situated right by ski slopes, it is recommended to do some physical training during the retreat (maybe walking uphill only breathing through the nose, and so on).

Completion of the retreat will entitle you to a 25-hour certificate by Breathing Unlimited. In order to complete the certification, all theory and practice sessions are mandatory. In addition, you need to deliver a 1-2 page reflection paper of a topic included in the retreat program.
